This week in gaming news, Xbox enjoy’s console exclusives Cuphead and Forza Motorsport 7 releasing, the Star Wars Battlefront 2 beta kicked off on console, and Halo announces a virtual reality experience launching later this month.

Bioware’s Anthem Gets a Beta

Bioware announced via Twitter that its upcoming game, Anthem, will receive a beta. Unfortunately, this game is still too far out to call when this beta will begin, but this is exciting news regardless. More on this here.

Microsoft and 343i Announce a Halo VR Experience

Halo Virtual Reality is coming October 17, 2017 to its Windows Mixed Reality headsets. While this is not a full-fledged Halo game, it will offer a look into what Halo in virtual reality could be like. More on this here.

Xbox and Bluehole in Talks to Extend PUBG Exclusivity Window

The mega-popular game PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds is coming to PS4 at some point, we know that. However, Microsoft is in talks with developer Bluehole to extend the console exclusivity windows until at-least “mid-next year”. More on this here.
